"Crisis? What Crisis" is said to be Roger Hodgsons' the ex tramp members favorite album to listen to due to its "rawness". It is also said that since this album was released right after their breakthrough album "Crime of the Century" it did not get as much recognition as it should despite it being in the running of one of the best album they have recorded. I enjoyed this album very much, I love the way they mix in the sound of the wood instruments espically in the song The Meaning, which is my favorite song on the album.

SO - Horseshoe in the Glove

Tracklisting:

  1. Are You Sure?
  2. Dreaming
  3. Burning Bush
  4. Horseshoe in the Glove
  5. Capitol Hill
  6. Tips on Crime
  7. Villains
  8. Would You Die for Me

A duo consisting of Mark Long and Marcus Bell came together to form this group called So. Their music would fall under the genre of 80's pop rock. On this LP they have one of their hit songs "Are you sure" which made an appearance on MTV back in the 80's but then quickly disappeared. When I first played the record, The Police came to mind. With their slow rock synthesized sounds and hint of jazz. Over all I feel as the LP was enjoyable to listen to, even though it is something I usually would not pick up at the record store. If you would like to purchase this record you can do so on Amazon.
